Ylli Mihali, the doctor of the Albanian National Team, dies
After two weeks of intubation, Ylli Mihali, the doctor at the Albanian National Team for 27 years, could not do it. Covid took his life. Mihali was 55 years old. The news was given by Armand Duka through a Facebook status.
"Dear friends! A few minutes ago I was introduced to the terrible news that Ylli Mihali, the good man, in short, passed away after a long and exhausting battle with Covid-19.
This is a difficult moment for all Albanian football, who knew and loved Ylli so much, that he reflected his name in every step and moment of his life.
A physiotherapist and an extraordinary man who served for 27 years near our National team, near his club Tirana, near athletes in difficulty, being close to them in every situation.
We will miss the humor, the love for people, the compassion of the Star. In this difficult moment for his family, his many friends, we pray that his soul rests in peace.
"Goodbye Yll, we will always remember you with love!", Writes Duka.
