Another Health Center, this time in Orikum is open 24/7 for tourists and vacationers during this summer season. It also serves more than 11 thousand residents of the area. The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, together with the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, visited the new health center in Orikum today.
"360 are rehabilitated and reconstructed health centers and ambulances, where a quality service and very good conditions for doctors and nurses are offered. This center is also a new socio-health center, because for a few months now we have the presence of a psychologist, where the necessary service is offered to everyone who has mental health problems, but also to identify cases of families or individuals coming from families with social and economic problems", said Manastirliu.
Minister Kumbaro has evaluated the work of health structures during the tourist season. "We don't only have a tourism with a beautiful nature, but we have a safe, clean tourism and that's why the task force is mobilized throughout the territory. It is important for tourists to know that where they go to the beaches, they always have a center like the one in Orikum that serves you, in order to offer all the safety conditions", Kumbaro underlined.
30 summer health centers have been opened throughout the country since June 15, where non-stop service is offered.
