A Campus of the College of Bruges will also be built in Tirana
In addition to energy, infrastructure and technology projects, at the Tirana Summit between the EU and the Western Balkans, there was talk of another agreement of interest to Albanian youth.
During the closing conference of the Summit, EU leaders and Prime Minister Edi Rama also gave important news in the field of education, such as the opening of a campus in Tirana of one of the most popular European colleges, as in Bruges, Belgium.
"Another fantastic thing that we discussed and received support in principle from both the President of the Council and the President of the Commission, and as far as I understand the full support of the leaders, is to work and have in Tirana the campus of the College of Europe in Bruges . It is a university with a very high reputation and it is now time to build this campus in Tirana, it is fantastic," said Rama.
"Students from the countries of the Western Balkans will not only be able to study, being physically in different European universities, but also in virtual form, being in their country, but at the same time they have direct access to these universities and here is that vision of yours to have the College of Europe, such an important university, as we have in Bruges and Poland," said European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen.
