Google is luring its workers with a "hotel" just to return to the office
The pandemic changed the way we work and live forever.
One of the changes was the office and working from home. Not that it had not started before, but after the pandemic it has become a lifestyle and a habit.
Tiranapost has adapted in Albanian an article from CNBC where it shows how Google is trying every way to entice its workers, the staff, to return to the office and not work remotely.

CNBC article:
Google hopes to lure workers back to the office by making a hotel available, but workers are still reluctant to return.
The company said full-time employees can book a room at a new hotel Google set up a year ago in Mountain View for $99 a night. The offer will last until September 30 with the hope that it will "make it easier for Googlers to transition into the workplace."
The company does not say it will refund their stay, but will ask employees to use their personal credit cards.
"Just imagine a little! You can skip going to the office in the morning and get an extra hour of sleep instead. Then, you can step out of your room and have a delicious breakfast or even get your workout in before you come to work,” Google entices employees.
The ad continues: "you can enjoy a quiet evening on the hotel's terrace, or go out to the night bars."
Some employees have commented on the offer with humor:
"No thanks!" (also accompanied by emoji).
"Now I can give Google back some of my pay," wrote another.
Google began moving most employees back to brick-and-mortar offices three days a week last year. In June, the company became stricter. The company's HR chief asked remote workers to reconsider their status and join colleagues. But none of them have worked so far. And apparently the latest offer to entice them to stay at the hotel doesn't seem to be that promising either.
