What is the best country in the world to work and enjoy life?

What are the total hours in a typical work day? How long does it take you to get to and from work? How many vacation days do you have per year and above all are you satisfied with the working conditions?

New global market research conducted by international financial services provider Remitly delved a little deeper into the countries that boast the best work-life balance.

Remitly surveyed nearly 4,200 workers in 22 different countries.

A few years ago there was the phenomenon of "Great Resignations" that filled the pages of newspapers. Many, tired, dissatisfied, often without motivation, employees decided to leave the Work. Whoever did this decided for a number of reasons:

excessive work-related stress, the climate of the institution and professional relations, the prospect of a better salary, the need to have a better balance between life and work and the possibility of working smartly.

What did the study reveal?

Finland has the best work-life balance, all things considered, with 73 points out of 100.

Workers in the United States, Brazil, Australia and Ireland have longer workdays, exceeding the average by 36 hours.

Brazil, Switzerland and Portugal offer the longest daily breaks to their employees, averaging between 53 and 60 minutes. Meanwhile, the United States, Austria and Finland record the shortest commuting times, between 40 and 41 minutes per day.
