The Simpsons predicted the disappearance of the Titan submarine 17 years ago? What is being hinted at in social networks

The Simpsons may have predicted another real-life event, this time about the lost submarine that traveled to the depths of the ocean to see the wreck of the Titanic. The Titan submarine went missing on Sunday with five passengers on board and rescue teams from around the world are desperately trying to save them with hours of air left.
Some Simpsons fans have remembered a similar scary story from the 17th season of the cartoon, which aired in 2006.

In the 10th episode of that season, Homer Simpson is led on an adventure by a man he believes to be his biological father, Mason Fairbanks. He invites her to his ship and tells her about the lost treasure of the sunken ship, "Piso Mojado".
Mason and Homer eventually decide to go to the depths of the ocean with individual divers to try to find the treasure. But the pair get separated during the trip.
Homer gets stuck on a coral and he begins to lose consciousness as the oxygen in his submarine runs out. He eventually wakes up three days later in a hospital and survives the ordeal.
Although it is not an accurate prediction of what is happening with the Titan submersible, some fans believe that the story is similar.
