Kate Middleton is still under the regime. Together with the children he went to the holiday home and William will go alone to BAFTA. This is the first time that Kate has not accompanied her husband to such an important event, since the birth of their little son Louise.

The prince will attend the ceremony only this time. He has been president of the British Academy of Arts, Film and Television since 2010. His grandfather, Prince Philip, previously held this position.
This year's ceremony will be hosted by actor and Doctor Who star David Tennant, while those who will present the awards include Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Bryce Dallas Howard, Hugh Grant, Dua Lipa and David Beckham.
Kate is still recovering from abdominal surgery, details of which have not been shared publicly.
