Whoopi Goldberg is done with marriage.
Goldberg, 68, was asked in a recent interview about her past three marriages.
She confessed that she just doesn't have the energy for that kind of relationship, i.e. marriage.
"I don't want to care how he feels. It's terrible," she said with a laugh. "When you're married to someone, you have to invest in how your partner feels."
"I'm not sure about that," she continued. "I'm invested in my child. I'm invested in their kids. I'm invested in my friends. But I'm not invested in a relationship that would require that much."
Goldberg has been married three times. Her marriage to first husband Alvin Martin ended in divorce in 1979. In 1986, Goldberg married filmmaker David Claessen; they divorced two years later. She later married Lyle Trachtenberg in 1994; the pair broke up the following year.
