To anyone who has seen the movie "Ramona and Beezus", Joey King will always be the little girl, spunky and resourceful, Ramona. For others there are a number of roles, one of them being in "Bullet Train". He is now 24 years old and married.
Joey and the 32-year-old director tied the knot on Saturday in Spain, in a secret wedding, surrounded by family and closest friends.
Earlier this week, King shared a photo cuddling with Piet.
'Love is cute! Love is great!", she wrote.
The couple first met in 2019 when Piet directed two episodes of her Hulu miniseries The Act. King announced their engagement on Instagram last March with photos from the desert proposal, calling the moment 'a dream come true'.
"I never knew that happiness could be so powerful that it could take the air from your lungs, occupying every part of you until you can't see clearly from the undeniable joy," King wrote at the time.
On his Instagram account, the director shared more details about the couple's milestone. "The weather was less than perfect. Cold. Younger. Perfectly imperfect to ask my best friend to spend a lifetime together..."
Sources close to the couple say that before the wedding, Joey also threw a bachelor party.
