It was a passionate, strange encounter between two friends who sneaked out of a pub for a Marlboro Light and ended up leaning over a fence to make love in a field.

This is how Prince Harry lost his virginity in July 2001 - an escape the world would have remained "ignorant" about had he not revealed some of the intimate details in his explosive memoir, Spare.

The story became one of the most talked about passages in the bestseller Spare, prompting a global guessing game as to who could be the unnamed 'old woman' as Harry referred to her who treated him 'not like a stallion'.

Now, that woman has come forward to share her version of what the Duke of Sussex, 38, called an "inglorious episode".

She is Sasha Walpole.

Just over two years older than the Prince, she is much younger than most of the women whose names were suggested in the frenzy of speculation about her identity.

"I've kept it a secret for 21 years and I wouldn't have talked if I hadn't found myself in his book," says Sasha with a figure and voice.
