"We will be forever sad that his life was interrupted by this devastating disease. He achieved a lot in his 24 years, but we will never have the opportunity to see how much more Harry could have done. Harry was not just our son. He was also a wonderful brother, loving grandson and a loving friend. It was a creative, loving and powerful spirit that brought light to the hearts of so many people. "He was a really beautiful person inside and out," the family wrote after his loss.

Brant followed in his mother's footsteps by becoming part of the fashion world. She was a model in many campaigns for Vogue Italia and Balmain. He had also drawn a unisex make-up line with his brother for MAC, and was writing for Interview magazine, which was once owned by his father Peter Brant. Not a small achievement for as small as it was.
