Sandra Bullock's partner Bryan Randall has passed away at the age of 57.
"It is with great sadness that we announce that on August 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS," his family said. "Bryan chose early on to keep his journey with ALS private, and those we care for did our best to honor his request."
"We are extremely grateful to the hardworking doctors and nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their families to be with us," his family added.
"At this time we ask for privacy", writes the family.
Bullock first met Randall at her son Louis' birthday in January 2015. They made their relationship more public later that year when they attended Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's wedding.
