The trial saga of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard / Kate Moss refutes the actress's claim
Model Kate Moss testified at the defamation trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard on Wednesday as Depp witnesses, telling the jury that he never pushed her down the stairs.
Moss, who testified for less than three minutes, said she had a romantic relationship with Depp from 1994 to 1998. Depp's team called her as a protest witness in response to testimony from Heard, who told the rostrum that she had heard that Depp had pushed Moss down the stairs when they were tied together.
"We were leaving the room and Johnny came out of the room in front of me. There was a rainstorm and as I was leaving the room I slipped down the stairs and hurt my back," Moss said. "I screamed because I did not know what happened to me and I was in pain and he ran back to help me and took me to my room"
Depp's lawyer asked Moss if Depp had ever pushed him down the stairs during their relationship.
"No. He never pushed me, shot me or threw me down any stairs," Moss testified.
Depp has sued Heard for $ 50 million for a 2018 Washington Post article where she wrote that she was a survivor of domestic violence.
