Jamie Lynn claims that after telling her parents that she was pregnant in 2007, they made her moral that it would be horrible to have a child at that age and that she should remove it immediately.

"It will kill your career. You are very young. You do not know what you are doing. There are pills you can take. We can help you get over this problem ... I know a doctor. This is the best way… ", Lynn tells what her parents told her at the time.

She decided to keep the baby and this brought her fierce debates with the father. He constantly insulted her and asked her to give him up for adoption.

Lynn also reveals that her parents told her not to even tell her sister Britney about the pregnancy.

"I needed her more than ever and she was not able to help me at a time when I felt vulnerable… Even today, the injury I could not tell my sister haunts me."

Eventually, the family reached an agreement with Us Weekly to break the news, distributing the first photos of baby Maddie in 2008. Today the girl is 13 years old.

Lynn also has a daughter today, Ivey, with her husband Jamie Watson.
