Jung Ho-yeon is the main star of the most watched Netlfix series of all time "Squid Games".
In an interview with NBC Asian America Jung revealed that the most difficult scene to shoot was when Sae-byeok tried to hide her pain when a piece of glass was stuck in her body, adding that she wanted to portray the character of its cold as it was.
"Her approach to life is so depressing, isn't it? So I wanted her to look as much of herself as possible when she was alone. "
Jung, whose character died in the penultimate episode before reaching the final round of games, has given her opinion on whether Sae-byeok should have been the one who should have won the award.
"In a way, I think Sae-byeok lived her life to the fullest, so her desperate need to win was different from the others, and she didn't necessarily have to win the prize."
To prepare for the role, she said she saw no documentaries and tried the dialect of Sae-byeok North Hamgy?ng province. Jung also took martial arts lessons for action scenes with her acting partners.
