Celine Dion's sister says that the singer's illness has worsened

It's been a year since singer Celine Dion first revealed publicly that she was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that prevents her from singing like she used to.

Her sister, Claudette Dion, has given details about the singer's health, announcing that she no longer has control over her muscles.

The neurological disorder with which the singer has been diagnosed seems to be worsening her condition.

"What breaks my heart is that she was always disciplined...It's true that in both our dreams and hers, the goal is to get back on stage....I don't know. The vocal cords are muscles and the heart is also a muscle. Because it's a one in a million case, scientists haven't done as much research because it doesn't affect many people."
