Oscar-winning British actress Olivia Colman has said she would be paid "a lot more" for her films if she were a man.
"I'm very aware that if I were Oliver Colman, I would earn a lot more," she told CNN.
The issue of unequal pay in Hollywood erupted a decade ago, but the most recent list of the top 10 highest-paid actors features only two women.
Speaking of Christiane Amanpour, Colman said: Research suggests that they [women] have brought in bigger profits at the box office.
"Don't get me started on the pay gap, but male actors get paid more because they [executives] said [male actors] attract audiences. And actually that hasn't been true for decades."
