The 5-month-old son of the famous American comedian loses his life from brain cancer
The youngest child of famous American comedian Nick Cannon and model Alissa Scott, Zen, lost his life on Sunday after a battle with cancer.
The news was given by the comedian himself on his show "The Nick Cannon Show", where he showed with tears in his eyes that his 5-month-old son Zen had passed away.
"This weekend I made a worthwhile effort to spend the most beautiful time I could spend with Zen," Cannon said. "Holding my son for the last time was a beautiful environment."
Cannon said his son was about 2 months old when he noticed that the newborn had some breathing problems, which he attributed to the newborn sinuses. Doctors told Cannon that Zen had a fluid in his brain, which eventually became brain cancer.
"They called it a malignant tumor and we immediately had to operate on it," Cannon said.
After surgeries and procedures, Cannon said the newborn's condition took a turn around Thanksgiving and Zen's tumor began to grow faster.
Zen, is the youngest of Cannon's children.
He also has two other older children with singer Mariah Carey, 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, with Mariah Carey.
