Demi Moore receives her first award: A director once told me, you're a popcorn actress

It took Demi Moore 62 years old and several decades of career to win an award.
She was awarded Best Actress at the Golden Globes. The ceremony was held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
Her acceptance speech was inspiring.
"I really didn't expect this. I'm just in shock right now. I've been doing this for a long time, over 45 years, and this is the first time I've ever won anything as an actor. I'm so humbled and so grateful. Thirty years ago a producer told me I was a 'popcorn actress' and I made him believe otherwise... At the time I believed him and it gnawed at me to the point where, a few years ago, I thought maybe it was true. I was at a point of weakness and I had this magical, bold script on my desk called 'The Substance'. And the universe said to me: You're not done yet."
