'No Time to Die' actress says term 'Bond girl' should be

Léa Seydoux invited to "Goodmorning America" ??talked about her new role in "No Time to Die" as Madaleine Swann. Asked if the term "Bond Girl" is old and if it would be more appropriate to replace it with something else, the actress replied 'Yes' and even had the alternative ready. Instead of "Bond Girl" for him would be better "Bond Woman".

However Seydoux said that she is happy that her character is unusual for a "Bond Girl", because she is not here this time to please James Bond. She is this time like a real woman, with her qualities and values.

Seydoux further said that he thanks Daniel Craig because thanks to him the female characters have changed so much in this film.

"The time had come for female characters to be stronger, so I'm really happy about that," said the actress.

"I think James Bond has become romantic and the film is extremely emotional. James Bond and Madeleine are very much related to each other because they are both orphans. "That's probably why people are really connected to this story."
