The famous Titanic actor, Bernard Hill, has passed away at the age of 79. He played Captain Edward Smith in the Oscar-winning 1997 film. He also portrayed King Theoden in Lord of the Rings.
Hill also played the character of Yosser Hughes in the iconic drama series Boys from the Blackstuff. His agent Lou Coulson told BBC News that he had died in the early hours of Sunday morning.
