32 letters and postcards of Princess Diana to be sold at auction
Princess Diana's personal letters once again reveal her grief over her divorce from Prince Charles. In the same letters it is revealed how Diana thought she would never have divorced if she had known how desperate she would feel.
Her letters will be sold for £90,000 and the proceeds will go to charity.
There are 32 letters and postcards for sale, the collection was written between 1995 and 1996 and addressed to her friends, Susie and Tarek Kassem.
They are selling the papers because 'owning the papers is a big responsibility' that they didn't want to pass on to their children.
They have kept some of their most personal and confidential letters.
Her handwriting deteriorates towards the bottom of the letter, apparently from where she had difficulty writing.
The Kassem family, who live in London, are selling the papers at Lay's Auctions in Penzance. The sale will take place on February 16.
