The expiration date system is a bit complicated. There are companies that mark the date of manufacture, others that mark the date when the goods were sold and the expiration date does not actually indicate whether the product can be consumed or not after it. This date is just a suggestion from the manufacturer to show you that it is better to consume before that date, for a better taste. But it is not always clear whether it can be consumed or not after that date. Some even say that there is always a deadline of 6 months after the expiration date. This is scientifically unproven. However, you should know that not all products have an expiration date. There are those that never break. So do not dismiss them.
