British study: Vaccinated can spread the "delta" variant as much as

The Public Health Service of England has published today the findings of a several-month study regarding the transmissibility of the "delta" variant of the coronavirus, which from previous studies has shown that it is more contagious and more aggressive even towards younger age groups.

The main finding of the study was that the level of transmission of the "delta" variant between vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals is almost the same. The only variable that changes is immunization versus symptoms. So infected people are less likely to show symptoms, be hospitalized or die, but can be as carriers and transmitters of the virus as anyone else.

These findings also coincide with the results of research by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) in the US, which last week found that transmission is high even among vaccinated and therefore recommended the resumption of wearing anti-COVID masks in indoor facilities.
