Neuroscientist shares 6 tips: What you need to do every day to have health and

When I started doing research on anxiety in my lab as a neuroscientist, I never thought to myself that I would also be affected by this condition. This lasted until I started talking, and listening to colleagues, my friends, and myself about how we were feeling: Anxious, stressed, confused, nervous, and about to give up — but from what?

What I have discovered over the years is that the most powerful way to combat anxiety is to constantly work on building resilience and increasing mental strength. Along the way you will learn to appreciate or even welcome some types of mistakes that you previously considered unacceptable, to yourself and others.

Read below six daily methods to increase mental strength:

1- Visualize the positive results

At the beginning or end of each day think about all those unsafe situations currently in your life, big and small. For each of them imagine the most optimistic result. Think that you will solve that problem, an issue that worries you. Think of the most ideal solution possible. It helps to create positive perceptions, but also helps you come up with new ideas on how to really solve an issue.

2. Turn anxiety into progress

The brain is designed to be resilient during challenging times - to learn how to calm down, reevaluate situations, reshape our thoughts, and make smarter decisions. And it is easier to take advantage of this when we remind ourselves that anxiety in itself is not that bad. Anger can block your attention and ability to perform, but / or it can motivate and motivate you; It helps you become more attentive and serves as a reminder of what really matters to you: and therefore worries you.

Breathe in, relax and focus on the sounds, the fresh smell and the look. Use all your senses to create an increased awareness of the natural world. This exercise increases your overall elasticity as it acts as a kind of energy restoration and restoration of balance.
