2022 in health: Falling sperm count, menstrual leave and cancer-fighting bananas

But there is much more to health news. Here are 6 health articles you may have missed this year.

Health experts are warning of a fertility crisis.

3. Your blood type can affect your risk of stroke

If your blood type is A, you may be at a higher risk - by about 16 percent - of having a stroke before the age of 60 than people with other blood types, according to a study.

Researchers found that people with blood type O, the most common type, are less likely to have an early stroke.

It's still unclear why blood type A has a higher risk, but researchers think it may have something to do with blood clotting factors. Previous research has suggested links between blood type and the risk of developing other conditions such as coronary heart disease.

6. Bananet jeshile janë të mira për ju

Nëse ju pëlqejnë bananet tuaja paksa jeshile, mund të merrni disa përfitime të papritura shëndetësore.

A 20-year study has found that a starch in unripe bananas can reduce the risk of some types of cancer by more than 60 percent.
