Vucic on Albin Kurti's new government: He is giving a bad message, two

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic states that the new government of Kosovo, led by Albin Kurti, is sending a bad message and is violating the Constitution, because it has not given two ministerial posts from the Serbian List. In the composition of the new government, only the Ministry of Communities and Returns, Goran Rakic, has been appointed for the Serbian List.

But according to REL, the Kosovo Constitution provides for a minister from the Serb community and one from other non-majority communities. If the government has more than 12 ministries, as is the case with the new cabinet, the Kosovo Constitution states that it must have a third minister to represent non-majority communities in Kosovo.

The leader of the Serbian List Party has also stated that he will address the Constitutional Court regarding this issue: We have 11 deputies! According to him, two ministries belong to the Serbian List.
