Vucic remembers the first meeting with Rama, 70 years after that of Tito and Enver Hoxha
In his opening speech at the Second Open Balkans Summit, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić recalled the first meeting with Rama in 2015.
"Our relations in the Western Balkans, between our 3 countries, are at a historical maximum. I remember the first meeting after 70 years, - the meeting between Tito and Enver Hoxha, - when Edi Rama and I met, it was a meeting with an extraordinary political and diplomatic energy. While today they are more friendly meetings. Also our communities, businesses, citizens understand each other more.
The next summit will be held in Tirana. Meanwhile, a number of cooperation agreements will be signed today.
In his speech, Rama said that in the future, EU countries will be invited to the Open Balkans.
