Video analysis / Bulgarian expert shows what may have caused the tragic accident with 46 victims
A Bulgarian expert, Dimitar Iliev, has made an analysis through a video, which shows the reasons that may have led to the tragic accident in which 56 people lost their lives, 12 of whom were children.
Iliev points out that a serious factor may have been the condition of road signs and signage at the scene of the accident.
Iliev has also made a video through which he has presented the state of signaling in the last meters of the highway in front of the place of the bus collision and finds that there are a number of irregularities, and describes the signs as deceptive, old and not reflective.
The Bulgarian expert points out that a sign indicating a turnaround had potentially collapsed in May and had not been restored.
Iliev describes what may have happened in the last seconds before the accident. He says that seeing the breaker in the rest area at the last moment, the driver may have made an attempt to avoid the left, but says that the sidewalk is likely to cause damage to the bus in the rubber part, and air ducts that are necessary for the operation of the brakes and ignition.
