Serbian media: Vucic is preparing to resign as he does not want to be the one

The Serbian newspaper "Danas" wrote in a news story on Saturday that President Aleksandar Vucic is preparing to resign as he wants someone else to make difficult decisions such as the recognition of Kosovo and sanctions against Russia.

The media reports that Vucic's close associates are the ones who disclosed the news that the president is planning to resign.

Recently, the West has increased the pressure on Kosovo and Serbia to reach a comprehensive agreement, in order to successfully close the dialogue process.

If Vucic resigns, he is replaced by the head of the National Assembly for 3 months.
