Investigations are closed for the murder of a 20-year-old woman by a pilot man in Greece. What has been discovered
Greek authorities have closed the investigation into the murder of Caroline Crounch, by her pilot husband Babis Anagnostopoulos.
After many suspicions that other people were involved in her murder, the authorities have come to the conclusion that the pilot committed the crime alone.
According to reports from the Greek media, the investigators have not extracted any new evidence from the process, for the verification of the phone and bank accounts.
How did the event happen?
20-year-old British mother brutally drowned by her husband Babis Anagnostopoulos in May at the couple's home
The pilot initially forged an elaborate theft plot and played the role of the grieving widow and later admitted to killing his wife when she threatened to leave him and take their daughter Lydia with him.
For 37 days the UK-trained pilot had deceived police officers by claiming his wife had been killed by thieves who had held her tied before putting a gun to their baby's head to demand money.
