The first cases with Omicron in Montenegro are confirmed
Five cases with the 'Omicron' variant of the coronavirus in Montenegro have been officially confirmed. All infected are reported to have mild symptoms.
The first suspicions about the presence of the variant arose on December 4 at one. Following suspicions, cases of contact with this family were isolated.
42.8% of the population of Montenegro are vaccinated with the second dose of the vaccine while about 10.5% of the citizens are immunized with the third dose. The Ministry of Health also warned of checks on the implementation of measures this weekend, especially in winter resorts.
