Greece has imposed new restrictive measures to prevent an increase in Covid cases. Vaccination will become mandatory for all Greek citizens over 60 years of age.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has announced that new restrictive measures have been put in place to protect health, especially with the release of the new Covid variant, Omicron, which has alarmed health experts due to the high number of mutations it contains.

Also one of the decisions of the Greek government is that all persons who are over 60 years old and have not been vaccinated will be fined with 100 euros.
