Albin Kurti is visiting Tirana today, he is expected to meet Rama
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, will visit Tirana today. During this visit, Kurti will hold a meeting with Edi Rama and Speaker of Parliament Lindita Nikolla. With the latter, Kurti is expected to meet in the Parliament of Albania, starting at 11:30.
According to information, in the Rama-Kurti meeting, the focus will be on the unsigned agreement in Ohrid between Kosovo and Serbia.
In the agreement reached in Ohrid, the parties have agreed to implement the agreements reached between them, as well as for Kosovo to start preparations to ensure a proper level of self-management of the Serbian community, an article that is seen as a reference for the Association of Majority Municipalities Serbian.
Another agreement has been reached for the persons missing during the war, while a Joint Monitoring Committee will be established to monitor all points of the annex to the agreement, which will be chaired by the EU.
Although an agreement has not been signed, the parties, after 12 hours of talks in Ohrid, have reached an agreement to implement the EU proposal for the normalization of relations.
