Veliaj from Unit 3: We have kept all the projects we promised
The Mayor, Erion Veliaj, during the presentation of next year's budget in Unit 3 in Tirana, said that all the projects promised today are promises kept.
"We kept our promise that we would make Skenderbej square, from the roundabout and the kart track, the most beautiful square in the Balkans, full of activities where we will now also start a Fan Zone for the World Football Championship, where we will also have the November holidays and the end of the year! We then promised that Tirana would have some spaces for tourists, because tourists came, but they didn't know where to go. We said we will make the New Bazaar and we will turn it into an identity. Did we keep that promise with all the opposition, with all the protests and with all the fights? We promised that we would return the historical part, the heritage part to Tirana. All these who scream about inheritance, did not let us clean the Bazaar. Did we keep our word about Tirana Castle? It is one of the most frequented places for tourists, but also for us locals. yes, or not? And if we kept our word despite all the odds, then those who opposed us, at least now have to be wise. They should stay calm while we work, because we have endured a lot. We have kept every promise we made," said the mayor.
