Veliaj in a meeting with the ambassador of Japan: Soon we will present "TEDA Tirana"

The head of the municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, received in a meeting the ambassador of Japan in Tirana, Kikuko Kato, with whom they discussed the work of the Tokyo summit.
Through a reaction on the X social network, Mayor Veliaj informs that, among other things, the project of the Technology and Economic Development Zone (TEDA Tirana) will be presented at the summit.
Through TEDA Tirana, the Municipality of Tirana aims to absorb foreign direct investments, expanding the range of industries operating in the Albanian market, with a focus on manufacturing industries such as the automotive sector, information technology, electronics, biotechnology, tech-logistics, etc. This project is expected to create 5 thousand to 7 thousand well-paid jobs. During the visit to Tokyo, the mayor will meet Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike as well as the Albanian community there.
