After two years of traveling for free on bus lines in Tirana, all students who are equipped with a student card will be able to travel for free again during the academic year 2024-25.

The Municipal Council of Tirana, with the votes of the socialist representatives, approved yesterday the proposal of the mayor Erion Veliaj for a free subscription for all students studying in Tirana. Earlier, the Municipality of Tirana subsidized even half of the payment for the dormitories, making life in the capital easier for students.
