Tirana has a new fire station in Kinostudio. The investment of the Municipality of Tirana for the security of the city, brings better conditions for the employees, but also a modern building, which suits the best standards of the fire service.
The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, participated in the inauguration of the new station, which he singled out as the largest and most beautiful in Albania. He said that he is also happy with Prime Minister Rama's good news about the salary increase for firefighters.
On the other hand, he chose some words to comment on the teachers' protest. "Imagine if, one day, the firefighters say: We will also become capricious, we will also become politicized, we will also include parties in our uniform, so for the ideal of the party today I will not put out fires, I will not open an elevator door blocked, where an elderly person may have been left, etc. This would be a disaster! For those teachers who are on strike today and are putting students on the streets, I mean that after being without classes for a year due to the pandemic , one year due to the earthquake and damage to many educational institutions, this third year is too much. A teacher has the opportunity, after finishing three or four hours of teaching in the state, to do another three or four hours in private . He can also do a consultancy with EU money or work with a private business. Whereas a firefighter, who is here 24 hours a day, does not have this option. He lives only on the firefighter's salary. There is no possibility that, after putting out the fires, he goes to put out fires in the private house as well", said Veliaj.
Më tej, kreu i Bashkisë u shpreh se të gjithë duhet të marrin shembull nga zjarrfikësit apo ushtarakët sepse sipas tij, janë pjesa më e fortë e shoqërisë sonë. “Këtyre pedagogëve u them shikoni zjarrfikësit, merrni shembull prej tyre. Kryebashkiaku solli në vëmendje faktin se dimri po afron dhe kërkoi mobilizim nga ana e qytetarëve, që të tregojnë kujdes nga ngrohja me gaz apo me soba me dru, sidomos këtë vit, që për shkak të luftës në Ukrainë, duhet të kursejmë energjinë elektrike.
“Dua që qytetarët të bëjnë kujdes të veçantë këtë vit. Dhëntë zoti, dimri të vazhdojë kështu, i butë, dhe nuk kemi shpenzime të energjisë, prej krizës që na vjen për shkak të një lufte të pabesë të një xhelati-psikopat në Rusi. Për sa kohë që kjo shkaktohet jashtë fuqive tona, ajo që kemi në dorë është të bëjme kujdes, të kursejmë dhe nëse do të përdorim gazin për ngrohje ose gatim, të kemi parasysh rregullat e sigurisë teknike, sidomos restorantet dhe lokalet. Dua t’ju ftoj që këtë stinë ta kthejmë në një fushatë të madhe informimi, jo vetëm në çerdhet, kopshtet, shkollat 9-vjeçare dhe në gjimnazet e Tiranës, por në të gjitha mjediset publike apo private”, tha ai.
Ndërsa, për ata që flasin nëpër televizione, Veliaj tha se ka vetëm një përgjigje: “Puna”.
