New investments in Tirana from the Dajti sports complex to the neighborhoods

The Dajti sports complex in the capital will be rehabilitated. Mayor Erion Veliaj, in his speech at today's meeting of the Municipal Council, said that this complex is part of the investments that the Municipality of Tirana will make from the beginning of next year.

"We have designated a fund for the rehabilitation of the building of the Dajti complex, a space for which they were told "they will make the palace", "it will go to Paskuqan", - are the conversations of the residents of Tallagyar. We decide to rehabilitate those grounds and give that community a field of European standards. We want to fix the tribune and the dressing rooms", said Veliaj.

"We want to include in the budget the construction of the roads of the new neighborhood in Shkoza; rehabilitating the streets of the block bordered by the Glass Factory; the requalification of the block bounded by Teodor Keko, Tom Lezha, Mikel Maruli and Loni Ligori streets to Unit 7; the urban requalification of the block bordered by Bajram Curri Boulevard, Petro Nini Luarasi Boulevard, Taulantia Street, Ali Demi Street, the second phase of the area known as the Electric Market," he added.

He said that in addition to the massive rehabilitation of roads in every neighborhood of the city, the construction of new schools will also continue.

"We want to pass a package of assessments from the engineering side of all educational facilities over 50 years old, such as the "Avni Rustemi" school, "Petro Nini" school, or other schools that can really stand, but maybe the time has come now that we finished 'Sami', we did 'Çajupi', 'Partizan', we should also return to some of the iconic schools, which must pass this audit of schools over 50 years old to reconsider them for investment, or perhaps to "made from scratch," said Veliaj.
