Were the dogs poisoned at the Lake? AMK and APR: We have turned to the police to investigate the situation
The Consumer Protection Agency and the Parks and Recreation Agency, as the two institutions that deal with the administration of stray dogs and public parks, have reacted to the event that happened yesterday in the Lake Park where several four-legged dogs were found reported as poisoned.
Through an announcement on social networks, AMK and APR inform that they are following the legal path, denouncing the case to the competent bodies.
"Regarding yesterday's event, we as AMK and APR have followed the legal path, directing you to the competent authorities to investigate the case. We encourage not only the public institutions to find those responsible or the causes of this situation, but we also encourage animal lovers to be understanding until the event is clarified. Since one year, in order to come to the aid of the volunteers, but at the same time ensuring the public health of the citizens, veterinarians apply vaccination directly on the ground. We also encourage the adoption of dogs from the veterinary center, where many of the volunteers, but not only, have welcomed and taken home abandoned puppies", the announcement states.
