Rama: I do not vote for the salary increase for MPs! To take effect when raised for all
Prime Minister Edi Rama declared in the plenary session that he will not vote to increase the salary of the deputies.
Rama said that the salary increase for MPs should be the last, when it has come into force for everyone, without changing his position.
"I do not vote for the salary increase for deputies. You do what you want, I myself do not vote. For me, the salary should be decided today and it should take effect the day the salary increase is made until the last one.
So if we tell teachers and doctors you will get this increase today, and the next one later and your salary will be full and 900 euros will be in the middle of next year, then for the deputies and ministers it should come into force after the increase to all others. This is my position, before that I think it is immoral", said Rama.
