Rama in Abu Dhabi: The temptation for the world is very great, but the country is among the smallest countries in the world
Prime Minister Edi Rama during his speech at the International Policy Conference in Abu Dhabi said that the situation to speak is great, but "But my country is among the smallest countries in the world." He added that he will try to resist temptation and meet great need.
Excerpts from the speech:
"As you can imagine, I am one of the tallest prime ministers in the world. The temptation to talk about the world is great. But my country is among the smallest countries in the world. The need for it is very great.
I will try to resist the temptation and fulfill this need without being boring, and hope you do not get bored. I think globalization is here, as long as we are warmed by the same sun. Our genuine interest in cross-border cooperation is growing, despite hesitations and rejections. Multilateral action must remain for cooperation.
We all know that global warming is not just a matter of climate, but also of development. For strengthening and peace. The more effectively we deal with it, the better we will prevent floods, natural disasters. Today the COVID-19 pandemic, a global issue has taken so many lives, compared to world wars. Are we able to deal with this war alone? Jo! ''
