The Deputy Mayor of Tirana shows how many children will be trained at Piramida

The Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Tirana, Arbian Mazniku, explained the process of reconstruction of the pyramid and the function it will have starting from September. Mazniku told ABC News that the idea of ??revitalizing the pyramid was to use the building both inside and outside.
"The idea of ??revitalizing the pyramid was this, to have an object that could be used from the inside, turning it into a technology training center mainly for children from 12-18 years old. A center called "Tumo" that operates in "Qemal Stefa" right now. The goal is for the pyramid to go from 1,000 to 5,000 young people. Also, another part of the pyramid will be available to technology companies and another part will be rented out, so that the training part of the families is subsidized by the pyramid itself. The idea was to revitalize from the outside as well, becoming one of the rarest objects that has a function from the inside and the outside. In the structure of the pyramid, it will be a tourist attraction and thus, unlike other spaces, with its revitalization we have gained two spaces," Mazniku said first.
The deputy mayor added that the garden is more livable than before.
"I think that the orchard has increased and has become even more viable. Trees and bushes have been added. Anyone who comes sees it and distinguishes it very easily," he emphasized.
The pyramid had its partial opening a few weeks ago, as work is still being done on its spacious premises and it is expected to be ready in September.
But even though it has been partially opened and part-time, according to Maznik, it has quickly turned into a favorite place for citizens.
"We are still in its soft opening, as work is still being done inside. It will take time until September, when it will be opened for children. The outside part has started to work for a limited time and for a short time it has become an attractive object for many citizens," said Mazniku.
Any child who is over 12 years old can start the training and most of them benefit from scholarships, but the normal salary is 3 thousand new lek per month.
"The courses are open and have been operating for 2 years. In "Qemal Stafa" there is a center that trains 1 thousand children every month. Divided into schedules. Children come and register, any child who is over 12 years old. Most of the children are on scholarships, but the payment they paid was 3 new thousand per month.
More than 60% of the children were on scholarships.
The objective is that when we come to Piramida, about 50% of the surface will be for the center and the rest will be rented precisely to subsidize the training of the children," added Mazniku.
