Basha refuses to comment on DASH decision for Berisha: these are questions for those who announced the decision
The leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha did not accept this evening to comment on the decision of the US State Department to declare his predecessor, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha "non-grata".
In an interview with "Information Radar", Basha said that they had their own problems and mistakes between them, but also that he does not intend to spit in cooperation with the former prime minister in so many years.
"We have had our problems tona our mistakes. I do not intend to spit on so many years of cooperation, the necessity of maintaining the relationship with the US strategic partner has changed. Every day of ours is full of achievements and problems.
Nothing to do with the decision can be part of my comments. Regarding the decision, these are questions that should be addressed to those who announced the decision and not to the chairman of the Democratic Party. I have made a decision on an ongoing communication with US government officials, but I do not intend to comment on this decision the more decisions on that decision have been made.
The responsibility of the DP is to face the regime and not to stand by the noose that binds our feet. "From the declaration non grata to the attitudes of the American government, the facts are there, the attitudes are, on these attitudes the chairman of the PD should have taken the decision that has been taken", said Basha.
