Prime Minister Edi Rama yesterday and today has changed his position regarding Kosovo. If until a few days ago the prime minister talked about peace, dialogue and sacrifices from the two sides in the conflict, such as Serbia and Kosovo, now criticizing Borrell's position, he is taking sides. Although he has not sent any message to Vucic, the Albanian Prime Minister is being critical and as he himself says for the first time in the last 10 years, Albania is not aligned with Brussels regarding Kosovo.
Prime Minister's speech:
For the first time in at least 10 years, Albania did not align itself with an EU foreign policy statement. This fact has led to a comprehensible explanation of the EU after we sent it to them in writing.
Actually, it is about the killing of the Kosovo policeman and the declaration of mourning in Serbia for the killing of terrorists.
Friends in Brussels have explained to us that something like this was not possible and that yesterday's statement was in fact the confirmation from the bloc of EU member states, from the head of diplomacy Borrell after the failed meeting on September 14 between the two leaders of Kosovo and Serbia .
We have expressed that we have no reservations regarding the EU's demands for Kosovo. Kosovo must fulfill them, but at the same time we emphasized the necessity that the publication of this statement should be made simultaneously or at least be followed without wasting time by a second statement on the intolerable developments from the developments that had taken place. We were told that this was not possible and that the critical declaration of Kosovo had received the approval of the EU countries.
We were told to align with this, but we didn't. For the first time in the last 10 years we are not aligned with Brussels.
It has not been well received by Brussels.

Po thjesht sepse nuk jam aq i zënë me hallet e gjithë botës siç janë të mëdhenjtë e kësaj bote e as nuk jam i mbyllur brenda qerfullit të së shkuarës siç janë të mbyllur për arsyet e tyre të ndryshme, qoftë udhëheqësit e sotëm të Kosovës, qoftë udhëheqësit e sotëm të Serbisë.
The EU says it wants an investigation into the incident before issuing a statement.
We would have agreed with this if Serbia had distanced itself from the event to pave the way for a serious investigation.
So what investigation is waiting for the EU? By whom?
