Emmanuel Macron recently declared that he will not resign even if he does not win the parliamentary elections.
I hope they will come together, when the time comes, before or after (the elections), women and men of goodwill will say no to extremes together," he told a press conference.
However, a poll conducted by the CSA Institute on behalf of the French media – CNEËS, Europe 1 and JDD, shows that 57% of French citizens do not share the opinion of the French president, demanding his resignation.
In fact, between the ages of 18 and 24, the percentage rises to 76%. In the 50-64 age group the percentage is 59%, as well as in the 25-34 age group. At 56% it is in the percentage of people 35-49. Finally, among those over 65, the percentage seems to be the lowest and reaches 47%.
