How can this bike not break!
Erjon Veliaj often takes the bicycle in order to set a personal example that the city needs more bicycles and fewer cars.
There are those who do not like either the bicycle or the mayor by bicycle because they want a car and a different lifestyle, but apparently as long as Veliaj will be in charge of Tirana, the city will have to sing the song of Francesk Rad : How not to spoil this bike. On the occasion of 'Tirana is Open', the municipality has planned to add more roads and bicycle space.
But what seems to go to the song "Bicycle", is the street of the Artistic High School of Tirana, which is one of the streets that the Municipality has dedicated to bicycle users in the capital. Rice e Liceut is already an integral part of many roads in Tirana dedicated to citizens for bicycles such as: "Dritan Hoxha", "Gjergj Filipi" "Palace of Congresses", Rruga e "Kosovëve", boulevard "Zogu i Parë", "Dëshmorët e" Kombit ”, the axis from the center to the street of“ Dibra ”and up to Kinostudio, Unaza etc.
The road to the Artistic High School ("Ismail Qemali") has already been completed, bringing to attention not only the safety, the functionality of this road dedicated to bicycles and their users, but also the aesthetic aspect.
As it is known, the street of the Artistic High School in Tirana is one of the most beautiful streets in the capital surrounded by tree crowns. Road that brings to mind the excellent song of Czech Rad, "Bicycle". But it is also one of the high-intensity roads, as a number of government, media and educational institutions are built on both sides of it.
Facilitating this road from parking and moving cars, not only serves to reduce acoustic pollution, but also to reduce the level of pollution in this area, both for the citizens who live there, but also for Tirana in general. The Road of the Artistic High School is the finalization of a new segment dedicated to bicycles, while it is also the signal of a new start for more new roads in the capital dedicated to bicycle users.
