The Military Meteorological Service announces that today our country will be affected by unstable weather conditions due to humid air masses of western origin.
The weather in the first 24 hours and until noon is expected to be medium to dense cloudiness. The cloudiness will be accompanied by occasional low-intensity and locally moderate rainfall.
In the Alpine area and in the northeast at altitudes above 700-800 meters, locally low to moderate snowfall is expected.
In the southeast area, light snowfall is expected at altitudes above 1200 meters. After noon, weather with clear spells and alternating clouds, which will be dense at times. Dense fog/mist at the time of rain and snow.
The wind is forecast to blow from the northeast to northwest at an average speed of 2-7 m/sec, while along the coastline and valley areas the wind will gain speed up to 8-14 m/sec accompanied by sea waves of force 2-3.
