Noise caused by toilets will be considered a human rights violation in Italy

The Supreme Court in Italy has added a new article on human rights violations, for the noise caused by toilets. So if the neighbor's toilet causes concern to the adjacent neighbor, Italian law will consider it as a violation of human rights. This article was started by a couple from Genoa who complained about the noise caused by their neighbor's toilet. They filed a lawsuit in Italian courts, then went to Strasbourg.

The court ruled in favor of the couple. The neighbor who had the problem with the installations, was forced to pay them $ 565 each year, for a total of $ 10,760.

Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi has vowed to change the justice system - which is inefficient according to the European Commission - driven by a desire to strengthen the country's economy and unblock coronavirus recovery funds from the European Union.
