Trump was booked into the Fulton County Jail on state charges that he conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.

Former President Donald Trump said he felt sorry for the other defendants, saying their "lives have been ruined" by the criminal charges.
"These people must be released. They need to be freed from this terrible thing they are going through," he said.
Trump is facing charges in four separate criminal cases, but this is the first time he has been photographed there.
Trump is facing 13 separate charges in Georgia, including one count of racketeering and several counts of fraud and making false statements. The deadline for Trump and his 18 co-defendants to surrender is Friday.
